Navy days

I'm sorry to hear of Ron's passing.  He served in the 2nd Division in destroyer USS Waldron DD699 as part of our very active gunnery division during the Vietnam tour July - December 1967.  In recent years  Ron occasionally called me when in the Chicago area on sales trips and it was fun to reminisce about the Waldron days.  He was an important contributor to of our excellent combat record of never missing a gunfire mission because of down equipment and our reputation for deadly accuracy with our six 5 inch naval guns..
