Condolence From: Paula Dishman
Condolence: We all know this day is coming but it doesn't make it any easier. I will always remember the wonderful visits I have had staying at their house. When I would bring my mom up to visit her sister, it gave me time to speak to John. He was a man well beyond his years and I always took something away from our chats. (Mostly money). I cannot make the services but promise I will be up soon to visit with you.

Condolence From: Paul Hemmer
Condolence: I was saddened to see the death of John in today's obituaries. To live to 99 is a major accomplishment. John was a friend of my dad, Andy Hemmer, through St. Columbkille's Parish and I personally remember his warm smile and happy manner. John gave many scraps of veneer to my dad who crafted them into some absolutely beautiful heritage pieces including a checkboard card table, inspiring Last Supper wall display and many others. John was a fine man and I know you were lucky to have him as a father.
