Obituary for Eileen D Ulrich (Hedrick)
Eileen D. Ulrich, 90, of Dubuque died Monday, February 23, 2015 at Luther Manor.
Memorial services will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, March 7 at St. John Lutheran Church. Burial will be in St. John cemetery. The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory,2659 Kennedy Rd. is in charge of arrangements.
Eileen was born February 20, 1925 in Dubuque, daughter of Otto and Hulda (Fanslow) Ulrich.
On May 24th, 1979, she married Alfred Farnochi. He preceded her in death on September 28, 2010.
She worked as a civilian mathematician, computer specialist for the US Air Force, retiring in 1980. She lived in Eatontown, New Jersey from 1945 until she returned to Dubuque in 2011.
Eileen was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a sister, Verna Bergman of Dubuque; sister- in-law, Ruth Ulrich of Melville, NY; seven nieces and nephews, Alan and Ann Bergman; Alysia (Tim) Hedrick, Gary (Pong) Thomas, Donald (Debra) Thomas, Jr., Barbara (Craig) Keough, and Linda Ulrich; niece-in-law, Darlene Thomas; and several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Karl Ulrich; sister, Helen (Donald) Thomas Sr.; brother-in-law, Orville Bergman; and nephew, Mark Thomas.
