Obituary for Patricia A Klossner (Rooney)

Patricia Ann (Rooney) Klossner, 73, of Dubuque died Monday, July 25, 2016 at home. Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road where visitation will be held Friday from 3 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Patricia was born April 17, 1943 daughter of Charles and Margaret (Murray) Rooney.
On August 19, 1972 she married Richard Lou Klossner. He preceded her in death on August 25, 1999.
In November of 1986 Patricia and Dick founded the Yukon Sharing Ministry in Yukon, Oklahoma. A ministry built on faith, hope and love which she continued to spread in Dubuque in her everyday life. She did so by helping others in need, Bible studies, prayer groups, and making a difference in people’s lives. Even while playing euchre or bingo, she constantly brought this hope to others.
Patricia was an inspirational woman of faith and strength. Her heart touched many and her spirit caused all who knew her to love her dearly. Her main desire was to tell others about the love of Jesus Christ; and she did so vividly through her own life stories.
She leaves behind, through her children, friends and loved ones, a solid structure of love and light that runs deep from her strong roots that will never die.
She is survived by her children; William (Lois) Rinderer, Craig (Suzanne) Rinderer, Mark Rinderer, Mary Beth (Wes) Randall and Jody (Gregory) James; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; ten siblings, Charles Rooney Jr., Michael (Tansy) Rooney, Terrence (Alice) Rooney, Daniel Rooney, Greg (Donna) Kuhle, Jerry (Colleen) Dotterweich, Sharon Goldman, Paul (Mary Jo) Rooney, Thomas Rooney and Tim (Margie) Sullivan; and her faithful companion Fuzzy.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

A final message for her friends and family; “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all Thy ways acknowledge him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6.
