W 11th tribute

Sorry to hear of Bob's passing.  We have known him for 25 years or so. Bob was a terrific neighbor and activist in the former W 11th Neighborhood, now Historic Bluffs Neighborhood. He and Betty Krieg held down the officer positions for years in the 90's depite being polar opposites on the political spectrum and even when meeting attendance was poor. He was active, enthusiatic and gave good advice at neighborhood meetings well into this millenium. He was active at Tri State Blind Society for many years as well. Bob readily agreed to be confirmation sponsor for our son at Nativty. Despite having a few differences with him, I will always admire his constant friendly neighborhood advocacy. His observation that we have lost the art of "neighboring" in this modern age still rings true. RIP Bob. Your life was a model for civic involvement.
