Robert Michael “Mike” Dolter, 54, of Dubuque died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Oak Park Place. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Thursday at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 Kennedy road where funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Inturnment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mike was born October 1, 1960 in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Joseph and Rita (Dullea) Dolter. Mike lived in Connecticut and worked as a powder coat painter for many years.
He enjoyed playing horseshoes and riding his motorcycle with his Boozefighter brothers.
Mike (Dead eye) was a chapter 42 member of the BoozeFighters Motorcycle Club est. in 1946.
He was respected by other riders and played an important part of making the club grow by being the first member in Iowa.
Mike was a member of St. Patrick’s parish in Dubuque
He is survived by his son, Joseph Grant of Wakefield, Rhode Island; a brother, Steven Dolter of Dubuque and a sister, JoAnne (Robert) Mack of Manchester, Conn.; three nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, Timothy; and a sister, Mary Kay Capalad.
