Jean E. Peck, of 2655 New Haven Street, died Monday September 1, 2014 peacefully, at home surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, Sept. 5 at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 Kennedy Road. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services.
Jean was born on April 23, 1932 in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Lynn and Estele (Rutan) Belding.
She married Douglas Peck on March 10, 1951.
Jean was a member of the Dubuque County Historical Society where she volunteered her time.
She enjoyed crafting, golfing and traveling.
Surviving are her children, Corinne (Shane) Reilly, Kathy Peck, Ed Peck, and Sharon (Judson) Clark; grandchildren, Paul (Kim) Goranson, Timothy Goranson, Ashely Peck, Rachel (Joe) Rankin and Lindsay (Ross) Hanson; step- grandchildren, Heather Clark, Forresstt (Bridget) Clark; and her sister, Norma (Forest) Schmitz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Peck; and her grandson, Camryn Clark.
A Jean Peck memorial fund has been established.
