Obituary for William C Bradley

William C. Bradley, 91, of Dubuque died Thursday, July 5, 2018.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, July 8 at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 John F. Kennedy Road, with Pastor Terry Bemis officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #6 immediately following. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
William was born on November 21, 1926 in Dubuque, the son of Melvin and Doris (Vollenweider) Bradley. He married Verna Cook in 1950 in Galena, Illinois. She preceded him in death on November 27, 2009.
William served our country in the United States Army during WWII.
He worked for Aladdin Dry Cleaning until his retirement. He enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida and the summer months camping with his family.
Surviving are his sons, James (Cindy Solberg) Bradley, of Cedar Rapids, IA, Thomas (Barbie Kluesner) Bradley, of Dubuque; daughter-in-law, Mary (Beyer) Bradley, of Dubuque; 10 grandchildren, Angela (Mike) Hoffman, Anthony (Ashley Black) Bradley, Matthew (fiancé Meghan Gerke) Bradley, Derek Bradley, Natalie (Ben) Shireman, Tyler (Calsey) Bradley, Sam (Taylor Levenhagen) Bradley, Christian, Maddie and Drew Bradley; 5 great- grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Link, of Franklin, WI and Barb Schroeder, of Dubuque.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, John; and brother, Robert.
A William Bradley Memorial Fund has been established.
