Condolences

Condolence From: Lili Peterson
Condolence: I just returned from FL and was told your dad had passed. I'm so very sorry. Alvin put our pool in about 14 years ago and I am quite sure I about drove him nuts! My youngest daughter, Ellie was fascinated by him and had endless questions for him. He accurately nicknamed her "Mouth". I called him the "iron marshmellow" - all hard on the outside but nice and soft on the inside. I thoroughly trusted him and thought he was a great guy!! I remember dealing with you too Katie and Andy. Such nice people. My deepest sympathy.

Condolence From: Ken, Patty Schmitt
Condolence: Our condolences to Debbie and Alvin's family. Alvin sure helped us out a lot when we bought a pool from him. He came to the house and answered our questions straight forward and addressed all our issues.
RIP Alvin.

Condolence From: Dawn Tschiggfrie-Mathe
Condolence: Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Alvin first introduced my parents (Ray & Phyllis Tschiggfrie) to the Norwegian Elkhound Breed when he sold my dad a puppy. He was a great man. I have fond memories of him when he used to stop in my dad's gas station (Ray's Amoco). Keeping you in my prayers especially during this difficult time.

Condolence From: Lisa Althaus
Condolence: Katie & Andy & family-
I want to extend my sincere sympathy in your loss of such a great man!! I first met him through Josh when I wanted to put a pool in our backyard. I walked into "Alvin's"
back in the day & introduced myself to him for the 1st time. He treated me like we had known each other for years. Kind, caring & his distinctive laugh I will never forget::)) We talked not only pools that day but lot's of happy things that had to do with life in general. He came to our home & gave me his honest opinion (not charging me a dime) as what all would be needed to make a pool work at our location. As recent as the past few weeks came back to look at our hot tub & gave Josh his opinion, all on his own time & never charged me a dime again!! That's how my memory of Alvin will remain. Kind hearted man & giving of his time & energy that he had these past few years. May his memories that you both shared with him be kept alive by sharing them with your beautiful children as they grow, as well as your friends, family & co-workers for this will keep him alive in your hearts forever!! - Lisa Althaus
