Obituary for Nancy J Pape

Nancy Pape, 85, of Dubuque died Sunday, November 19, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Nativity with Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery in New Vienna, Iowa. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 Kennedy Road where there will be a parish wake service at 6:30 p.m.
Nancy was born January 8, 1932 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of Ralph and Naomi (Schneider) Richman. Nancy married Fred J. Pape Jr. on May 21, 1958 at Nativity Church in Dubuque.
Nancy was employed at KDTH Radio, first as a radio personality and later in business operations. She retired from KDTH on December 31, 2000. In her retirement Nancy enjoyed being involved in numerous clubs and organizations throughout Dubuque such as the Red Hat Ladies. She was a member of the Church of the Nativity and its Rosary Society. Nancy also had a passion for volunteering whenever she could. In her spare time Nancy loved to play golf as well as yoga.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Fred Pape of Dubuque; her children Tami Bozarth of Dallas, Texas; Michael (Penny) Pape of Hampshire, Illinois; Grandchildren Jeffery Bozarth and Victoria Bozarth both of Dallas, Texas; Matthew Bozarth of Denver, Colorado; Brandon Pape of Dubuque; and Chloe Brown and Mackenna Brown, both of Hampshire, Illinois; great grandchildren Sebastian, William, Carter, Lorelai; and her sister in law Donna Richman of Dubuque.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Naomi Richman, her brothers Ralph and Jerome Richman, a son in law William Bozarth, and her mother and father in law Fred and Abeline Pape.
