Marilyn R. Zarra, 83, of Dubuque died Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Luther Manor. Private family services will be held. Private Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery, Machesney Park, IL.
Marilyn was born January 29, 1934 in Manhattan, NY, daughter of Morris and Yetta (Rosen) Brodski. She married the love of her life, Anthony Zarra, and together they had three sons.
She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother, with a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Marilyn is survived by three sons, Mike (Phyllis) Zarra of New York, Dan (Ann) Zarra of Rockford, IL, and Rob (Jaymie) Zarra of Dubuque; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a granddaughter, Michelle Zarra.
A Marilyn Zarra Memorial Fund had been established.
The Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
