Condolence From: Tom Schlarman
Condolence: I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Dick Elliott. I was very lucky to be able to learn from his example and counsel during my years in scouting. Even afterward, when we'd happen to meet he had a knack of passing along great advice or encouragement at just the right time.

My thoughts are prayers are with Arlene, Rick and the rest of the Elliott family.

Condolence: The ripples of Dick Elliott's presence in this area will be felt for many generations. I can think of no other single man, other than my father, who has influenced my character and growth as much as Dick Elliott.
Words cannot express my gratitude for his devotion and time given to Scouting, as well as to us boys and young men as individuals. I truly believe few men are able to make the world so much of a better place, the way he did.

Condolence: Arlene, I want you to know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers. What a great man Dick was....a quick wit and that twinkle in his eyes. May the Angels wrap their wings around you and give you peace.

Condolence: Keeping the entire Elliott family in our prayers. Dick was a wonderful man, the advice he shared with me when I was younger is something I still treasure and reflect on often. If Jeremy were still with us I suspect he would be sharing stories reinforcing the fact that there could not be a more caring, more involved, and more loving grandfather than Dick was to him. We hope the Elliott family finds strength in knowing they are not grieving alone and that a lot of prayers are being sent their way. Rod & Zeny Fischer
