Obituary for Megan E Uptegraph- Coble (Uptegraph)

Megan E. Uptegraph-Coble, 28, of 17602 Gondola Dr., died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near New Diggings, Wis.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2659 Kennedy Road, where there will be a parish scripture wake service at 4 p.m.

She was born on June 10, 1982, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, daughter of Richard and Sandra (Pasker) Uptegraph. She graduated from Hempstead High School and the NICC nursing program.

Megan was a registered nurse with Mercy Home Care and was currently working on her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix.

Megan was a very caring and loving person who always had a beautiful smile. She loved helping people in need and would always put them first. Working in the vineyards at Sunset Ridge Winery was one of her favorite pastimes.

Megan will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially Ian Bonnette.

Surviving are her son, Aiden; her parents, Richard and Sandra (Pasker) Uptegraph, of Dubuque; her brother, Adam (Katie Rapp), of Dubuque; her sister, Michaela Uptegraph, at home; her maternal grandparents, William and Rosemary Pasker, of Manchester, Iowa; her fiance and love of her life, Ian Bonnette (and his daughter, Madison), of Dubuque; her best friend, Billy Potter, of Dubuque; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

She was preceded in death by her infant sister, Vanessa; her paternal grandparents, William and Vera Uptegraph; and her paternal stepgrandmother, Ena Uptegraph-Meyen.
