James Brenner

James "Jim" Brenner, 52, of 2525 Windsor Ave., died Thursday, July 15, 2010, at home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2659 Kennedy Road, where friends may call after 9 a.m.
He was born on Aug. 2, 1957, in Dubuque, son of George and Patricia (Davis) Brenner. He married Deborah Hoover on Sept. 7, 1997, at Word of Life Church; she preceded him in death on April 18, 2005.
Surviving are his stepson, Michael (Melissa Wiesler) Hoover, of Bellvue, Iowa; a sister, Linda (Steve) Tuegel, of Marion, Iowa; two brothers, Robert "Bob" (Linda) and their children, Jeremy Clendenen and Josh and Jessica Brenner, all of Dubuque, and Richard (Sandy), of Dubuque.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Diana Brenner; and a brother, Michael Brenner.
A Jim Brenner Memorial Fund has been established.

Our sympathy is extended to you. James stopped and talked to us every Saturday morning at the Dubuque Farmes market and always gave us a T.H. paper as he was getting off of work. Some mornings he was waiting for us at 6:20 with a smile and a wave. We had blueberry muffins for him one morning. We will miss his kindness and fellowship. Godbless.

I used to work with james at eagle window and door,i always called him,"JIMMY B".He was an awsome guy,always had a smile and a high five everytime we passed each other,and him always callin me with a smile "BIG GUY",he was a great guy and a hard worker.The news of his death shocked me,He will be missed greatly,always had a kind word to say wene id see him anywhere.Id like to send my condolences out to his family during this hard time.God bless JIMMY B!
