Wishing you warmth and peace. Joey's spirit and energy will always inspire me. He was such a good friend every time I got the opportunity to be around him. One of my favorite moments was riding together from Chicago to Lexington, KY together for a bachelor party. We kept each other so entertained, laughed a lot, and got to know each other personally. Condolence: "Jo Jo I'm going to miss picking on you at the office (4 yrs) but most of all when you made an entrance with those big blue eyes, huge smile & that curly doo of yours (reminded me of that chia pet commercial & we'd joke/laugh about it). Same week, I saw you on Thursday morning & as always we greeted each other & knowing what I know now. I wish I could have been there for you & gave you a big hug!! I never thought that day was the last time I would ever see you again. I was in total denial. You were perfect in every way! Angels are very lucky to have you. My heart aches for all of you and I'm so very sorry for your loss. When Brett first brought Joey to my house, @ freshmen in HS, I knew they were going to be great friends. Those two would crack me up with their crazy stories. Knowing those two, I'm sure they were selective on the stories they told me. They were the best of friends and had some adventures for sure. Joey was a true friend to Brett and for that, I will always be grateful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful son with mine. He will always be in our hearts.
