Darleen M. Joos, 90, of Dubuque, died July 4, 2018, at Luther Manor in Dubuque. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Grand View United Methodist Church in Dubuque with Pastor Tom Shinkle officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Egelhof, Siegert, and Caspar Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 John F. Kennedy Road and one hour before services at the church on Thursday. Interment will be in Linwood Cemetery.
Darleen was a high school business teacher in Monroe, WI prior to marriage to Emil Joos on Dec. 21, 1957. Her wisdom and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Darleen is survived by a daughter, Karen; a son, Kevin (Shari); 2 grandchildren, Nick (Jeni) and Andee; a sister, Donna (Bob); sister-in law, Barbara; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emil; her brother, Guerdon; and a daughter, Kathy.
Her family would like to thank the staffs at Home Instead, Dr. Konz, Finley Hospital, Luther Manor, and Hospice of Dubuque for their wonderful care.
