Children and Reggae

Erin and I shared two great passions: we are both totally dedicated to our children, and we both love Reggae Music. Since we were pretty good parents, and were the type to be at home in the evenings, we didn't have much chance to go to the clubs.  But every now and then Erin would find a good spot and we'd sneak away, usually on a Sunday evening, and go to some basement club for a bit of Dub-stylee.  A totally cool one that she would take me too was on East Fifth Street, down in the cellar. I'm pretty sure we were both sporting dreadlocks at the time, and we merged right in with the seriously Rasta crowd for some much needed dancing. Then at two, or three, or four a.m., back on the bicycles and back home to the WAY East Village, Avenue C.  Thanks for those great Reggae times, Erin.
