Bertha M. Brenner, 77, of Dubuque died Friday, July 28, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 2 at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 Kennedy Road where visitation will be held Wednesday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
Bertha was born October 15, 1939 in Dubuque, daughter of Jacob and Sophie (Sietzman) Brenner Sr. She was a member of Salvation Army and loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by a sister, Ida (Terrance) Fortmann of Dubuque; many nieces and nephews; a son, Lester Brenner and three granddaughters, Kristina, Trisha, and Jenifer.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Herman, Albert, Jacob and an infant; and three sisters, Sophie Crimmins, Dorothy Brenner and Lillian Yager.
