Gloria M. Gottschalk, 91, of Dubuque, died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at UnityPoint Health- Finley Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 1, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation. The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 John F. Kennedy Rd. is in charge of the arrangements.
Gloria was born on June 29, 1926 in Dubuque, the daughter of Carl and Clara (Seltric) Papenthien.
She married Harold H. Gottschalk on Oct. 4, 1947 at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Gloria was a Registered Nurse in the Obstetrics Department at Finley Hospital for many years.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was active in mission circles, choir, and banner making.
Surviving are her children, Kaye (Wayne) Lehrman, of La Crosse, Wis., and Kurt Gottschalk, of Dubuque; granddaughters, Gretchen (Tony) Konrardy and Stefanie (Eric) Askland, and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; and siblings.
