Condolence: We were blessed to know Bob at the University of Dubuque, and travelled with him on choir tours where he always kept the singers in stitches with his funny sense of humor. We'll never forget his singing of the "Benedictus" with that beautiful tenor voice! We last saw him at Westminster when we were back for our 50th reunion -- luckily, he was singing a solo that morning, so we got to hear him sing once again. After services, it was difficult to break off the conversation which took up right where it left off years before. Rest in peace, dear Bob, and condolences to your family from The Somervilles.

Condolence: Bob was my roommate at the U. Of Dubuque for my sophomore and junior year. We had many great times together and were members of the Dubuque Concert choir for 4 years. He sang at my wedding 6 days after his wedding and also at Elaine and our 50th wedding anniversary. Our condolences to Zoe and his family.

Condolence: Zoe,
So very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I enjoyed the obituary, and while I always knew he lead an active life, that is certainly an understatement. I will never forget his help to our family over the years, learning to water ski at your cottage, and the friendship you all shared with my parents. Please know you have our deepest condolences.
