Thomas L. Leliefeld, 87, of Dubuque, died Friday,March 24, 2017 at Luther Manor.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 10 at St. Raphael’s Cathedral where a visitation will held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 John F. Kennedy Road is in charge of the arrangements.
Tom was born on May 12, 1929 in Davenport, Iowa and grew up in Guttenberg. He graduated from St. Mary’s high school. Following graduation he moved to Dubuque where he worked at the Dubuque Packing Company until he retired at the age of 65. He loved music and was accomplished playing the piano, organ and as a vocalist.
He is survived by an aunt, Ann Olinger; numerous cousins; and Phil and Mary Lockhart, who were his care givers for many years.
