Cedric “Rick” Dilsizian, 70, of Peosta, died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, March 21 at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road where Military Rites will be accorded by the American Legion Dubuque Post # 6 at 7 pm.
Rick was born on December 6, 1946 in New York City, NY to Apkar and Nona (Kurdian) Dilsizian. After graduating from high school, he served in the United States Air Force for 15 years. He then taught as a professor of math and computer science at Westchester New York Community College before retiring in Peosta.
Survivors include his significant other, Wanda Wallace of Peosta; sister Elizabeth Lawson of Falls Church, VA; nephew Steve (Corrine) Lawson; and niece Jennifer (Travis) Scarborough and their children Ian and Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother in law George Lawson.
