Condolence: Kara and I feel so blessed to have been a small part of Martha's life at Grace United Methodist Church. Martha was a very special person!! Condolence: Martha was such a lovely lady & Alice's best friend before Martha moved to Dubuque & Alice's memories faded with Alzheimer's. Unfortunately Ron, Gary & I don't feel Alice is well enough to travel from Independence to Dubuque at this time, but please know the entire Foster Family is thinking of your family & all the wonderful memories Alice & Martha made together. May your memories of such a wonderful lady bring you peace.

Condolence: Such a lovely lady. We stopped in and visited her at Sunset. I will always remember her laugh. Enjoyed a visit with her in Lamont one time when she shared her beautiful quilts she had made. Always thought fondly of her, Alice, Charlotte and Harriet at the Methodist Church.

Condolence: Thought & prayers are with you as you bid Martha good bye, you just have to remember all the memories that you now hold dear to your heart. At her age I can only image how many you have. I remember the family gatherings that always took place at Grandma Laaker's place. I was Hilda Bivens daughter in law, married to Bill. Rembering you tomorrow, & will say a prayer to her.

Condolence: My husband, Mark and I send our condolences to all of the Laaker family. I am Kenny's wife, Dianna's sister. Although I never meant Martha, she shares her birthday with our mother which makes her even more special! As we have gotten to know Kenny and welcome him into our family, I can only say that you must be a very special, God loving woman and I appreciate and love you for welcoming my sister into your family! Your family represents what we all desire when raising children- kind, loving, and assets to our great world we all share! Again, our condolences!
