Condolence From: Ed and Theresa Deppe
Condolence: Dear Marge and the Dolan family: Ed and I were sorry to hear of Ozzie's death. He had a long and wonderful life. We got to know him at Holy Ghost, in fact have an OLD set of World Books we bought from him! they saved us many a trip as we looked up homework things. Also Anne and Amy were classmates at Holy Ghost. I also saw Ozzie when I subbed for various teachers. He was always doing good. Sorry we cannot make the wake or funeral. Ed is getting over hernia surgery, and we are staying close to home these days. Again our sincere sympathy. Ed and Theresa Deppe

Condolence: Condolences to Ozzie's family....
I spent many a really early Saturday morning helping Oz take kids canoeing in various streams around the Dubuque area.
Oz was a wonderful human being.
I have many fond memories of my association with him, and I think that I became a better human being because of Ozzie's influence.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to the family of Ozzie Dolan.

I attended Holy Ghost School ... the same grade as Kathy. My favorite memory of Ozzie goes something like this.... Several of us attended a birthday party for Diane Schueller. I do not remember how I got to the party but I remember several of us getting a ride home from Ozzie. We all piled into the car and headed home. Ozzie started to sing ... the song was "The Days of Wine and Roses". I can still hear that rich, deep voice singing as the car headed up Stoltz Street. I remember thinking how lucky Kathy and I were. We both had very "cool" Dads.

Marge and family, please take comfort in the many sweet memories I'm sure you have shared with this wonderful man.

RIP Ozzie. Thanks for the ride!

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers to all the Dolans. So sorry I will not be able to attend Uncle Ozzie's funeral.
I remember him showing up at our farm driving a wonderful little Thunderbird convertible! It looked a little out of place parked under a tree on the front lawn. I can see a big smile with him behind the wheel of that car. Also, the memorable pictures of him with numerous cousins wearing the Notre Dame t-shirts he provided!
We live in CO and had a couple great visits with him as he spent the night with us while delivering Winnebagos in our area. Always fun to catch up and hear his stories.
Love, Joan

Condolence: Thinking of all my Dolan cousins this week. Ozzie was just the best sort of person and will be missed by you all I'm sure. He and Aunt Marge were so great about attending all the family events. Wish I could make the funeral. Marianne will represent our family. Keeping you in thought and prayer.
