Condolence From: Sue Astley
Condolence: I'm sorry that I was unable to attend the memorial. I teach at Cornell, and I first met Susan when she took a class from me. Of course, she was very engaged in the course and added a lot to class discussion. It was wonderful to get to know Susan further during her time of working for Cornell. She did SO much here that I was worried that the College would collapse when she retired. I especially appreciated Susan's keen insight and honest commentary on things. She was one of a kind.
