Condolences

Condolence From: Tom Sheehan
Condolence: It's been nearly a year since Bob's passing. I still sit in church and sometimes I forget that Bob is not there to lead us in our hymns and songs. I really miss his voice and especially his kind presence! I sincerely hope Cindy and his family are doing okay. I know it is difficult at times in the passing of a loved one so close to your hearts. I still think of Bob, as my sister and I walk by Gretchen and Jordan's place. I never forget such a kind, gentle soul as Bob! He is forever missed by everyone who knew him.

Condolence: Cindy, I am so very sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I always loved to hear him sing! I know Dan told you, but I am sorry to have missed the services because I'm sitting vigil by my dying mother's bedside. This whole "death is a part of life" thing bites, to be honest. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. **TR

Condolence: God shined a light on the life of Bob Mueller. And he shared that light with us. What a joy to have spent time with Bob at UD and in Collegiate Singers. What a lovely man-joyous, generous and kind. Rest in peace, Bob. Sending our love and prayers for your family.

Condolence From: Wendy Kephart
Condolence: Cindy & family, The memories of the time we spent with Bob at Kephart's Music are so important to me. He was a great man who was always so willing to help us in so many ways. I will always remember how he would break into song while working at the repair bench - just for the sure joy of singing! He was a talented man who will be greatly missed! My heart aches for you, your kids and grandkids as you deal with this loss. Prayers and love to you all, Wendy

Condolence: I am so deeply saddened by my friend and neighbor. Bob was always willing to help at church, in the community and where ever his path in life led him and where he made his presence known. As a neighbor, he helped us with our driveway when there were floods and deep snow, in which my family were very thankful. He always said, in a friendly manner, "Howdy neighbor!" One doesn't encounter that demeanor as much nowadays. He was a truly devoted father, grandfather and a kind, gentle soul. He led us beautifully in song at our church. He used his gift of voice and sang at my Dad and Mother's funeral. I, for one, will never forget Bob. He was a truly decent human being and applied his Christian walk in a kind, unobtrusive way. He will now be singing with the angels in his next journey! Bob, we will miss you!

Condolence From: Dave & Mary Brown
Condolence: Dear Cindy, Greg, and Gretchen, Mary and I extend our deepest sympathies to you and your families. We were truly saddened to hear the news of Bob's passing. Bob was one of my best friends in college. We were in University and Collegiate Singers together and we were always roommates on choir tour trips. I'll always remember the silly and sometimes not-so-silly duets he and I sang together in Collegiate Singers, me on guitar and Bob on stand-up bass. And Mary and I were so lucky and grateful that Bob agreed to sing at our wedding. We were always amazed at his work ethic as he maintained a full load of classes and extra curricular activities at college and a nearly full time job at home on the farm. No one worked harder during their four years of college than Bob. We know you, too, have many wonderful memories of your husband, father, and grandfather. We hope those memories sustain you during this most unimaginably difficult time. Sincerely, Dave & Mary Brown, Urbandale, IA
