Margaret Mary  Riegler (Beebe)
Margaret M. Riegler, 80, of Sherrill, Iowa passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at home, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 19, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Sherrill. Burial will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, Sherrill. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m., Sunday, at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 John F. Kennedy Road.
Margaret was born on June 3, 1936 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Albert and Genoa (Wolfe) Beebe.
She married Earl Wm. Riegler on June 16, 1956 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Sherrill.
Margaret was employed as a secretary for the Dubuque Community Schools for 28 years.
She volunteered as a Sunday School teacher and a Church elder for many years.
Margaret enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Dubuque Sparette League. She loved painting ceramics and giving them as gifts, and making scrapbooks for her children and grandchildren.
Her greatest joy in life was raising her two boys, Craig and Jeffrey along with watching her grandchildren grow. She never missed sporting events, school activities, Boy Scouts, or graduations. She loved spending time with her family and celebrating birthdays and holidays. One of her favorite family events was the Annual Riegler 4th of July Fireworks held at her home.
She is survived by her husband, Earl; sons, Craig (Lori) Riegler and Jeffrey (Heather) Riegler; grandchildren, Tyler, Tucker, Alissa, Adam (Lindsey) and Alex; step- grandchildren, Chance and Corinne (Gary); step- great- grandchildren, Kaden, Kolton, and Kendall; and her brother, Patrick (Trish) Beebe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Nancy (Zuke) Zimmerman.
