Robert D  Johnson
Robert Donald Johnson, 89, formerly of 2710 Hickory Hill Drive, most recently of Oak Park Place and Luther Manor died Monday, April 11, 2016 at Luther Manor.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2016 at The Church of the Resurrection. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, April 14, at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 John F. Kennedy Road where a wake service will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Robert was born on April 20, 1926 the son of Walter Raymond and Bertha (Bush) Johnson. He married Pauline Aurit in 1971 in Dubuque.
Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served his nation during WWII.
He worked for many years as the Business Office Manager at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque. He enjoyed a second career at Medical Associates, Dubuque performing many different responsibilities.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond D. (Crystal) Johnson of Lakeland, FL. and Michael R. Johnson (Tamara Vega), of Breese, IL, daughter-in-law, Patricia Johnson, of Dubuque; ; four grandchildren, Robert (Ainsley) Johnson, Sarah (Kevin) Schrobilgen, Kelly (Jeremy) Noel and Michelle Johnson; and four great- grandchildren, Gavin Schrobilgen, Samantha Schrogilgen, Jordan Noel and Landon Noel; and two dear friends, Ruth Turnis and Lois O’ Brien, both of Dubuque; and the many relations of Pauline’s that are still with us.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pauline; and brother, Roger Johnson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Robert Johnson Memorial Fund.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Oak Park Place, Luther Manor and Hospice of Dubuque for their wonderful care.
