Dani L. Ernzen, 7 year old daughter of Crystal (Jeremy) Leemon and Daniel (Kate) Ernzen, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Church of The Resurrection with the Rev. Mark Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 JFK Rd.
Dani was born on November 15, 2007 in Dubuque. She loved music, cartoons and boating. Dani was a fighter and a snuggle bug with a vibrant personality whose laughter was contagious. She loved without asking for anything in return.
Surviving are her mother, Crystal (Jeremy) Leemon of Dubuque, IA and her father, Daniel (Kate) Ernzen of Dubuque, IA; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Julia Feltes of Dubuque, IA; paternal grandparents Shelly Kalb of Dyersville, IA and Pat and Caroline Leemon of Bessemer, MI; maternal great grandmother Luzmilla Karwoski of Dubuque, IA; also surviving are aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Daniel L. Ernzen; great grandparents Dwaine and Mabel Feltes and maternal great grandfather Edward Karwoski.
