Paula was born on August 13, 1956 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Lavonne (Kronfeldt) Eisbach. She graduated from Wahlert High School in 1974. On June 10, 1978, she married Jeffrey Oberhoffer at Nativity Church. Paula will always be remembered as having a smile on her face. She was always willing to offer a kind word or a helpful hand to others. She was a devoted wife and mother who had an incredible passion for children. That passion lead her to a career of child care spanning 33 years, with the last 15 working in the nursery at Young-Uns Child Care Center. She loved traveling with her husband and cooking for her family's holidays and Sunday gatherings. Nothing was more important and dear to her heart than her 8 grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey of Dubuque, IA; her children, Sara Jenaman of Dubuque, IA., Chris (Holly) Oberhoffer of Asbury, IA. and Molly (Tyler) Carson of Clive, IA,; her grandchildren, Aidan and Addison Jenaman, Emma, Will and Drew Oberhoffer and Alivia, Brynlie, and Asher Carson; her siblings, Dennis (Brenda) Eisbach, Diane Hanson, Julie (Jim) Thiltgen and Mark (Sara) Eisbach all of Dubuque, IA.; her in-laws, Mike (Kay) Oberhoffer and Mark (Peg) Oberhoffer both of Dubuque, IA. and Jerry (Patty) Oberhoffer of Asbury, IA.; her father-in-law, Carl Oberhoffer of Dubuque, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son-in--law Ray Jenaman; her mother-in-law, Marilyn Oberhoffer and her brother-in-law Mike Hanson.
In lieu of flowers, a Paula Oberhoffer memorial fund has been established.
Paula's family would like to thank the doctors and staff and Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus for their unending care and support.
